Preserve and promote Telugu language, culture, traditions, and festivals. Unite Telugu families through cultural, educational, and social programs. Support youth with Telugu language learning, leadership, and volunteer opportunities. Encourage community service and charitable initiatives that benefit society. Build strong relationships with local and national organizations while promoting diversity and cultural understanding. Create opportunities for networking, collaboration, and lifelong community engagement.

To create a vibrant, inclusive, and united Telugu community in Tucson by preserving cultural heritage, empowering future generations, and fostering lifelong friendships through service, education, and cultural excellence.

The objective of the association is to preserve and promote cultural, religious, artistic, and aesthetic unity among the members of the community. The promotion and enhancement of social unity among the members of the Association will be accomplished by, but not limited to, the following: Organizing cultural performances, social and educational projects. Religious and linguistic endeavors. Establishing collaborative links with other organizations similar in mission and objectives in the United States and abroad.

Founded in 2000, the Telugu Association of Tucson, Arizona (TATA) was established to serve the growing Telugu-speaking population in Southern Arizona. Since its inception, the organization has worked to preserve Telugu heritage while creating a strong support network for families and professionals. Over the years, TATA has become a respected community organization, hosting major cultural festivals, Telugu language classes (Telugu Paatasaala), family events, educational programs, and charitable activities that bring together generations of Telugu families.
