A stunning Lord Ganesha idol has become a major attraction during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Hyderabad. At Lichi Pearl Set Jewels in Begum Bazar, a 24-carat gold-plated Ganesha idol has been installed, featuring an incredible 3.83 lakh American diamonds.
The idol’s back arch showcases the Dasavataram, while Lord Balaji is placed at the top, with Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati on either side.
The idol took eight months to create, with eight artisans working day and night. Every diamond was carefully hand-fitted to give the idol a unique jewellery-inspired look.
The design was inspired by the famous Lalbaugcha Raja. The organisers said their roots in Hyderabad’s Old City and their long-standing connection with Ganpati celebrations inspired them to create something truly special this year.
