A strange incident at a temple in Markapur district has caught the attention of devotees. At the Poleramma temple in Krishtamsettipalle village of Giddalur mandal, Andhara Pradesh, priests claim that two additional eyes have appeared above the usual eyes of the Kanchi Kamakshi Goddess idol.

The unusual sight has become a topic of discussion in the village, with devotees from nearby areas rushing to the temple to witness it.

The temple is currently celebrating its 9th annual anniversary, with special prayers and abhishekam being performed for the Goddess. According to the priests, the additional two eyes have been visible on the idol for the past five days.

Priests say that the eyes, or Nayanam, hold special significance in the worship of Kanchi Kamakshi Devi. They consider the appearance of the additional eyes to be an extraordinary occurrence and are conducting special rituals and prayers.

The idol in the Poleramma temple was reportedly installed around nine years ago in the form of Kanchi Kamakshi Devi, and daily rituals have been performed ever since.

The news has now spread to surrounding areas, drawing large crowds of devotees. Many are visiting the temple to have a glimpse of the unusual appearance, offer special prayers and fulfill their vows.
