Tulsi Gabbard has resigned from her role as Director of National Intelligence in President Donald Trumpโ€™s administration. She shared her resignation letter on social media platform X, stating that her resignation will take effect on June 30.

In the letter, Gabbard said her husband Abraham was recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, and she now wants to focus on her family. She also thanked President Trump for trusting her with the leadership of the intelligence office.

However, according to Reuters, a source familiar with the matter claimed that the White House had forced Gabbard to step down, sparking fresh political speculation.
