The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is all set to host the three-day ‘India Mela’ from August 14 to 16, celebrating Indian culture, music, food and shopping. The event is being organized by Yukta Events and presented by Saleha.
The India Mela will be open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, and 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 16.
Visitors can look forward to shopping, live music, dance performances, a wide variety of Indian cuisine and more. More than 100 popular brands are expected to participate in the event.
The three-day celebration will feature a variety of special programs. Friday will begin with ‘Bhajan Jamming,’ a dedicated musical evening. Saturday will feature a live concert along with performances by local talents.
The grand finale on Sunday will feature ‘Jugalbandi,’ a special musical tribute to legendary singers Asha Ji, Kishore Da and Rafi Sahab. Swati Kristam will also present special performances during the celebrations.
Teevan Taivakuma, Executive Partner at New York Life, is supporting the event, while Asha-Jyothi is serving as a partner.
