Philadelphia is all set to host a major Telugu cultural extravaganza as the second convention of the Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) will be held on June 19 and 20 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Organizers expect between 5,000 and 7,000 Telugu Americans from across the United States to attend the two-day event.

The convention aims to celebrate Telugu culture, traditions, community service, youth leadership, and unity through a wide range of cultural, spiritual, social, and business-focused programs. Renowned actress and former Member of Parliament Jaya Prada will attend as the chief guest, while popular personalities including Suma Kanakala, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nikhil, Ali, and Swathi Reddy are also expected to participate.

Entertainment highlights include a special musical performance by Ram Miriyala and a grand finale concert led by music director Devi Sri Prasad. The event will also feature the Bhadrachala Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, youth, business, political and legal forums, CME sessions, alumni meetups, a matrimony forum, an AI hackathon, MATA Singing Star competitions, and several cultural programs.

More than 100 business and exhibition stalls will provide opportunities for shopping, networking, and professional connections. Organizers say the convention will serve as a memorable platform to strengthen Telugu heritage, community bonds, and future leadership among Telugu people in America.
