Hyderabad’s HITEC City Railway Station has been completely redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, offering passengers a modern travel experience with upgraded infrastructure and improved facilities. The redevelopment project, completed at a cost of ₹26 crore, is now ready for inauguration.

As part of the redevelopment, the station has been equipped with several passenger-friendly amenities, including a new station façade, spacious waiting areas, improved lighting, digital information displays, modern toilets, and enhanced seating arrangements. The project aims to provide a safer and more comfortable travel experience for commuters.

To improve accessibility, authorities have installed new lifts, escalators, and a foot overbridge, making it easier for senior citizens, differently-abled passengers, and families with luggage to move across platforms. The platforms have also been upgraded to accommodate increasing passenger traffic.

The HITEC City Railway Station serves thousands of daily commuters, particularly employees working in Hyderabad’s IT corridor. Officials believe the upgraded station will significantly improve connectivity and passenger convenience in one of the city's busiest commercial hubs.

The redevelopment is part of the Centre’s Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, under which railway stations across the country are being transformed with modern facilities, better accessibility, and enhanced passenger services.

With its new look and improved infrastructure, the HITEC City Railway Station is expected to offer commuters a smoother, safer, and more comfortable travel experience while supporting Hyderabad’s rapidly growing transportation needs.
